Happy Friday Y'all!  We'd like to welcome Mary-Katherine to The Monogrammed Life!  She writes over at The Gold-Hatted Lover!  She's an accountant by day and a fashion blogger by night!  When we saw this post, we knew it would be PERFECT for her first most here!  Be sure to head over to our Meet The Bloggers page to find out more information about her!  We hope you enjoy this Fashion Friday post!

dress worn as skirt: j.crew factory // sweater: j.crew factory, old (very similar) // denim jacket: abercrombie // boots: hunter // bracelets: j.crew, old navy // necklace: j.crew (love the newest version) // earrings: sonoma silver company (similar) // nails: essie "miss matched" + opi "happy anniversary" // lips: bare minerals "charisma"

when i saw that the forecast called for rain yesterday i got excited because one: that meant i could whip out the hunter boots and two: that meant some of the snow left on the ground could melt away and three: that meant it would actually stay above freezing for once!

this week gave us a taste of spring, with mornings where i did not want to die walking to the car and nights warm enough for just a light jacket.  while i know that it is about to dip down again over the weekend, it was such a nice reminder that warmer temps and better days are ahead!

ps: i cannot find them online, but the heart bangle and navy bangle are from old navy and you need to get to your nearest store asap.  the solid colored one comes in a multitude of colors and they are all less than $10 but look like j.crew!  i am thinking about stocking up on some more myself!
