Lazy Girl Nail Designs: Gold Streaked

Today I am sharing another nail tutorial! I always get such great feedback on these, so I am going to try to do more in 2015. In order to try to do more, I decided to begin a new series on my blog called Lazy Girl Nail Designs. I know many people say they never put anything on their nails or spice them up because it takes too much time and effort. In this series, I will show you that is not true and share my favorite easy nail tutorials!

A week or two ago I posted a picture of the finished look on Instagram, and I had so many people ask me online or in real life how I did it. So today, I am sharing the tutorial!

First, paint 1-2 coats of whatever color you choose on your nails. You can see I originally used purple, but to demonstrate what you do I did it on pink. I love glitter with the bright colors personally!

Next, pick the color you are going to make streaks with. I chose a gold, but any color will work! Then wipe off the brush against the side of the bottle. If the nail polish is newer and more full, you will probably have to wipe it more. I wipe it until you can see a good amount of the black brush.

Next, do quick little strokes across your nails until you get the streaks you desire! Add a top coat once it is dry and you are all done.
