Beauty Talk // What Makeup I'm Using {vegan}
Jo Malone Body Cream in Wood Sage & Sea Salt // Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara // Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights // LORAC Pro Liquid Lipstick in Plum Brown // Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Palette // Polish'd Marble Brush Set
Today's post is something that I've been planning out and working on for a few months now, and I'm so excited to be sharing it today! I've had a few requests from readers to show what beauty products I use on a daily basis. The last makeup collection post I did was last year. Since then I've fully converted over to cruelty-free and vegan makeup, and I've expanded my arsenal a lot to include tons of brands that I love and trust. I've also gotten a lot better at doing my own makeup in general, which has come from watching tons of tutorials on Youtube and Instagram.
This makeup collection will feature both high-end and affordable makeup, so there's options for everyone and their budget. All products are linked- you can click on any text in pink. And of course, all the products I use are cruelty free. I hope you enjoy this post! I put a lot of time and work into this one to make it as comprehensive as possible.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray // Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights // bareMinerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light //EMax Bamboo Cruelty Free Kabuki Brush // Pacifica Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream // Pacifica Sea Foam Face Wash
I always start off with bareMinerals Original Powder Foundation ($29), which I apply with my kabuki brush. The brush I got in a set for $13 on Amazon, but it's amazing quality and it blends powder foundations very well. I really like this foundation's formula and I've been using it for the past few months.
I also love adding some shimmer and light to my cheekbones, and this highlighter by Makeup Revolution ($6) is one of the most pigmented and affordable highlights. Plus, I love the blush pink color. I sometimes contour as well, but I'm currently looking for a new contour product.
I cleanse my face at night using Pacifica's face wash ($10, great for sensitive skin like mine) and a Clarisonic Mia brush. And when I finish doing my makeup, if I remember to, I like using this Urban Decay setting spray ($31) to keep my beauty look on throughout the day. Usually, I just forget because I'm rushing out the door.
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette // Urban Decay Urban Vices Palette // Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Palette // Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette // Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette // Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette
I'm such a palette junkie. If there's one weakness I have when I'm shopping in Ulta or Sephora, it's the eyeshadow palettes, especially from my favorite high end brands. I particularly love Anastasia Beverly Hills, Urban Decay, Too Faced, and Lorac's palettes.
Here's some pictures of the palettes opened with all the eyeshadow shades visible:
Palettes, clockwise from top right: Urban Decay Urban Vices, Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance, Urban Decay Naked 2, Urban Decay Naked Smoky, Makeup Revolution Iconic 3, Urban Decay Naked Basics
When if comes to Urban Decay's Naked Palettes, let me just say, they are 100% worth the hype. The formula is super pigmented and they blend so well. I love the metallic shades in Naked Smoky, and the earthy tones of Naked 2 ($54 each). I use the Naked Basics ($29) for natural, more downplayed looks, or to fill in my eyebrows. Since I love Urban Decay's formula, I got the Urban Vices mini palette just to toss in my bag.
Makeup Revolution's Iconic 3 palette ($7) is a dupe of Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette ($54), which I love and hope to buy sometime. However, this is an awesome alternative. The shadows are pigmented and pretty good quality! However, no shadow can hold a candle, in my opinion, to the formula of Anastasia Beverly Hills. I recently got the Modern Renaissance palette ($42) and I've been using it every day. The shadows are so creamy and incredibly pigmented. I would 100% recommend this palette to anyone.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara // Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara // Tarte Precision Longwear Liner // Tweezerman x Cynthia Rowley Slant Tweezers // Pacifica Stellar Gaze Mascara
Besides my obvious obsession with eyeshadow palettes, there's a few basic products I use to finish up my eye look. I love Tarte's precision longwear liner ($20) to do my everyday cat eye. I also alternate between my three favorite mascaras, Too Faced Better Than Sex ($23), Urban Decay Perversion ($22), and Pacifica Stellar Gaze ($14).
I only use liquid lipstick right now. My favorite formula is Kylie Cosmetics- it's super silky and non-drying, but matte ($17). I'm loving Kristen, a dusty reddish-pink {see it on me here}.
I also love LORAC's Pro Liquid Lipstick ($19) in Plum Brown {I'm wearing it in this post}. My signature red is Tarte's Tarteist Lipstick ($20) in Bae {see it on me here}. When I'm in the mood for a deeper berry red I'll layer on my Kylie Cosmetics Metal Matte lipstick to deepen up the tone {see my full review here}.

- Makeup Revolution {affordable and great quality for the price}
- Kat Von D {all-vegan and makes amazing quality products}
- LORAC Cosmetics {eyeshadow is buttery soft}

Hope you enjoyed this post! It was a labor of love putting this one all together {lots of writing} but I'm so happy with how it turned out. What are your favorite products? Let me know in the comments below if you have any recommendations I missed.
