Ultimate Vacation Packing List

by - Wednesday, September 07, 2016

Happy Fri-yay, gorgeous people! Summer has finally come to a wrap and my favorite season is coming up…FALL! The leaves, the scents, HALLOWEEN…all of my very favorite things happen during the months of September-November. Lots of us are going to be gearing up to start school and head back to work after a much-needed summer holiday, and some of us were busy taking a last 60+ hour-long road trips with their husbands (not even a joke). When I got home from my trip, I realized that at this point in my life, I have packing down to an actual science. And today, my dear friends, I am sharing that knowledge with you.

How To Pack Like A PRO.

Packing doesn’t have to be the worst thing in the world. In fact, I quite like packing. I am one of those people who have their bags packed a week before I have to leave. Below you’ll find my comprehensive packing list for any vacation:
Now that you know WHAT to pack…..I’m sure you are just begging to know WHERE to pack it in. I’ve partnered up with CalPak to review their ~b e a u t i f u l~ luggage set: Astyll 2-Piece Luggage Set  in Petals. It is quite honestly the prettiest set of suitcases I have EVER owned. The quality is amazing and who doesn’t want to look ultra chic when jet setting off to their next vacation destination? I always had really ugly-but-durable duffles and definitely didn’t look chic while traveling. These are hard case luggage sets, which I love. I am always worried about my stuff being squished. Don’t just take my word for it though, take a look:
They are not only gorgeous on the outside, but they are incredible beautiful and well made on the inside. They have pretty navy blue fabric lining with so many secret pockets I will never be able to fill it all (that is a joke because lol I pack for 10 years at least when I go on vacation). The luggage also expands so you can stuff in even more things.
The luggage also has a TSA approved lock on the side so that your belongings are always secure. I have never seen a suitcase with a built-in lock, but I am NOT complaining. My husband and I always get nervous about our items being ruffled through so this is a great way to make sure your private items stay private.
I don’t know about you, but having pretty luggage makes me want to take a trillion more vacations. I can’t stop staring at these beautiful floral pieces…it might be time to start planning my next trip! Florals will always and forever be popular, in my book. The colors are bright enough to work for spring and summer but the black background makes them perfect for fall and winter, as well. CalPak is stunning, versatile and functional?! Count. Me. In. That sounds like three solid wins in my book.

Packing for vacation doesn’t have to be a chore. It doesn’t have to be stressful. It certainly doesn’t have to be something you put off to the last-minute!! With this easy checklist, your stress can be eliminated and you have one less thing to worry about. Print it out and mark off each thing as you pack it. Then right before you go to leave, run over it one more time. There is nothing worse than forgetting your phone or laptop charger plugged into the wall.
And while you’re at it…pick up a set of these incredible suitcases. They have so many colors and styles to choose from. Remember when I posted about everything white marble (click here if you accidentally missed that post)? WELL. CalPak has this exact luggage set in white. marble. So I would hurry up and get on that if I were you.
Last but not least… CalPak has generously offered to allow me to host a GIVEAWAY for you beautiful people! One lucky winner will receive their very own CalPak luggage. Head over to my instagram (@blondeandambitiousblog) to get instructions on how to win a CalPak carry on!
