Have you seen the newest cosmetic bags from Marley Lilly? They're adorable, the perfect travel size, and only $15.99! They come in 8 different colors of seersucker, and what says summer more than seersucker!? Perfect for makeup, make up brushes, pencils and markers, or snacks! They make great gifts for wedding parties, graduation, big/little baskets, or anyone else on your list!
The heat wave that is sweeping the country started today and it's only going to get hotter over the next few days! Keep as cool and comfortable as possible with these few simple tips!
1. Drink plenty of liquids! This seems like a no-brainer, but it never hurts to have a little reminder. Drinking as much water as possible will help to keep you from getting dehydrated.
2. Avoid too much outdoor physical activity during the hottest part of the day (usually between 10 AM and 4 PM). If you need to be outside, make sure you take plenty of rests in the shade!
3. Wear lots of sunscreen if you're outdoors! A hat helps too, Marley Lilly has some super cute ones :)
4. Dont forget about your pets! Be sure they're getting plenty of water too, and not being left in hot places!

1/2 rotisserie chicken
1/3 cup pecans, chopped
2/3 cup dried cranberries, chopped
1/2 cup granny smith apple, diced in small chunks
1/2-3/4 cup of greek yogurt (depending on your preference)
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, minced
Pull the chicken apart with your fingers and chop with a knife until it is of a fine consistency. Combine the chicken, pecans, cranberries, and apple in a large mixing bowl. Toss together with the greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, and rosemary. Refrigerate when finished. From my experience the salad is great when you first make it, but even better after it's been refrigerated for a few hours! Try it on a toasted english muffin with lettuce and sliced avocado for a super light and healthy lunch!

I am always stuck on Pinterest trying to find the most unique and cute crafty ideas for my apartment! I am moving into a new apartment in August and my roommates and I need living room furniture. I am really into the "vintage" look right now and found the cutest idea to make a coffee table!
You can find these wooden crates at Michael's, and for pretty cheap if you have a coupon(s)! I am planning to attepmt this in the next couple weeks, hoping to figureo ut how to make two side tables to match! I will follow up to let y'all know how it goes! :)
I am also obsessed with painting mirrors and empty frames to hang and found cute ideas for that on Pinterest too!

Oh Emily! Bless your heart, so many boys to choose from, so little time. Or so it seemed anyway, we're already down from 25 to 6! Where did the time go? Emily Maynard has been knocking them out left and right for 6 episodes, who will be the next to go? We'll find out the answer tonight, but I have a few predictions (or hopeful thoughts) of my own.
Arie: I had my doubts about his race car driver career rubbing Emily the wrong way, but that certainly does not seem to be the case! You could probably watch the show for 5 minutes and gather that he's a front runner who isn't going anywhere!
Sean: Boy oh boyy! Sean has been my personal favorite ever since his one on one date with Emily. Great love? We want that too, Sean. I feel pretty confident when I say I think he'll be sticking around for a while too.
Jef: Jef with one f, now he's another story. For the sake of wishful thinking, I'm going to say I think he'll be the next to go. Unfortunately, Emily will probably keep him around. She sees something in him, I'm not sure what.
John: He's been hiding in the background for most of the season but showed a whole new side to himself last week. I don't think he'll be around too much longer, but I think he'll be safe tonight.
Chris: For some reason, I get bad vibes from this guy. Despite my dislike though, he seems to be a crowd favorite and Emily obviously likes him because she gave him a rose after the group date last week. He'll definitely be safe!
Doug: Sweet little Doug, he's kind of a softie, but all in all a nice guy. He's a dad, which probably helps his odds in this case. Personally I'm a fan, but I think he's going to have to work a little harder than he has been if he wants to stick around, but I'm pretty sure he'll be fine this week.
So there you have it! My personal predictions for tonight's episode. Hopefully I'll be right and we'll all say adios to Jef with one f, but we'll just have to wait until tonight to see!

Living in South Carolina can get boring sometimes but one
place that will always warm my heart and make me happy is Charleston. Charleston S.C. is full of southern food and
charm at its finest. Voted most politeand hospitable city.
With beaches, historic sites, and the
College of Charleston, Charleston attracts hundreds of thousands of people from
all over each year. So in case you get
to make a visit, I made a list of ten fun and exciting things to do in
Charleston.
1.
There are 3 amazing beaches in Charleston. You have Folly, more for the younger college
student crowd where you can hear good music playing at all times. Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms are two
beautiful beaches that attract families and people of all ages.
2.
The market in downtown Charleston was built in
1788 and is open 365 days a year. It
wouldn’t be a trip to Charleston without stopping by this historic site and
maybe even buy a couple wheatgrass baskets that are so popular.
3.
East at one of the best restaurants in the
southeast like Hanks Seafood in the market.
4.
Boat or kayak to Shem Creek and eat at one of
their many well-known restaurants like Red’s Icehouse or The Wreck.
5.
Visit the College of Charleston. With over 10,000 students from all over the
world. College of Charleston was founded
in 1770 and has many beautiful historic sites including the cistern and
cobblestone streets. http://www.cofc.edu/
6.
Bike to the battery to see all the beautiful
charlestonian houses and cannons from the civil war.
7.
Shop at some of the best clothing stores on King
Street.
8.
On Saturdays from April-August go to the fresh
market held in Marion Square. They offer
fresh fruits and veggies and have some of the best homemade crepes I’ve ever
had!
9.
Go to Trophy Lake Park
10.
Check out a show at the Music Farm right in
downtown.
So next time your around the
southeast, try to make a visit to this beautiful town and see all it has to
offer! You will not regret it!

If you
aren't married yet, get on that, so that you can hire Juliet to do your
photography. If you are already married... have a baby, so you can hire Juliet
to do your photography. If you have a baby, hire Juliet to take photos of your
child(ren). If you already have all of these things, it doesn't even matter,
you should still hire Juliet to take photos of someone or something you love.
You will thank me later. As said before in this post, I have been going through
photo after photo trying to find the most special ones to put in frames around
our house. When I got to our wedding photos it was impossible to even narrow it
down to thirty. That's a lot of picture frames of just wedding photos. I have
to blame this on the most amazing photographer ever, Juliet Elizabeth She
truly has a gift. She was able to capture every moment of our wedding
perfectly. Looking through the photos Eric and I were able to relive what
seemed like the fastest night of our lives. Her gravitating personality made my
family, wedding party, and each one of my guests a fan of hers. I had people
asking me who our photographer was for months after our wedding. I can't say it
enough, THANK YOU Juliet for making our memories last a lifetime. Now, if all
that doesn't make you want to do the latter...get married, have a baby, etc. so
that you can have your picture taken, then maybe this will. Here are some of my
favorites from our very special day. All accredited to the talented Juliet
Elizabeth.

Do you ever feel like you wear the same hair styles over and
over again? Time to change it up with fabric bows! They are easy to make and look cute with any
outfit. With a little help from "The House of Smiths" we'll show you how!
You’ll need a hot glue gun, cute fabric, buttons, hair clips
and scissors. Time to get crafty!
1.
Cut out 6 circles of any fabric (no more than 3
inches in diameter). If you’re feeling really adventurous, you can mix and
match fabric patterns.
2.
Fold one circle in half, so it looks like a
taco. Then fold one of the corners
forward and the other corner backwards.
3.
Add hot glue to the folds to make sure they stay
folded.
4.
Do this to all of the circles until all 6 of
them look like petals.
5.
Now, cut
out one smaller circle of fabric to use for the base of the bow.
6.
Put a drop of hot glue in the middle of the base
circle and place the tips of each petal in the glue. (Make sure the petals are
close so there aren’t any empty spaces)
7.
Once all of the petals are in place, put another
drop of glue in the center and place a button on top.
8.
Finally use a small drop of glue on the fat end
of any hair clip (or headband) and place the flower on top.
VOILA!

Have you tried the sock bun? Perfect for those late mornings when you have to get ready in a rush! It'll look like you spent wayy more than five minutes on your hair and no one has to know!
All you need is an old sock, a hair tie, bobby pins, and a little hairspray.
Cut the end off of the sock and roll it into a donut shape. Using the hair tie, put your hair into a low or high ponytail, whichever you prefer! Put the end of your hair through the donut and carefully separate your hair and tuck it under the donut. Slowly roll your hair down over the donut. As you get closer to your head, straighten and tuck stray pieces to keep the bun neat. Depending on the texture and fullness of your hair, you may need to use a couple bobby pins to keep it in place. Spray with a little hair spray and you're good to go!
If you do the bun with damp hair and then take it out after your hair has dried, it can create loose curls too!

I recently saw on twitter the cutest proposal idea! A guy could
propose with not only the ring (which is obviously the most important part!),
but also give his girlfriend/soon to be fiancé a monogrammed necklace with her soon to be initials, if she said yes of course!
As well as this unique idea, I have always thought that it
would be such a great idea for a mother-in-law or sister-in-law to give a
monogrammed necklace to her future daughter-in-law or sister-in-law! Since
the bride is marrying into the groom’s family and taking on his last name, It’s
such a sweet and sentimental gift for the bride to receive from her new future
family!
Monogrammed bracelets are also another great option that have the same sentimental touch

This is such a fun trick to make ice cream sundaes even more exciting! We found this on The Entertaining Elf and just had to share it with you!
All you do is melt any kind of melting chocolate, blow up small balloons (water balloon size), dip the bottom of the balloon in the chocolate, place on a cookie sheet and freeze. Pop the balloon and voila! You have the perfect ice cream sundae bowl!
