5 Reasons to Stay Home on a Friday Night
 The older I get, the more I love a good Friday night at home, girl. Don’t get me wrong, I’m always down for a good time and I show up with party pants and all, but a solid night on the couch is always a winner in my book. Sharing my top five reasons why staying home on a Friday night is SO cool and totally 2016.
#1 PJ’s All the Way– This is a given no matter what day or time. If you catch me at my house, I’m ALWAYS in PJ pants. Pretty sure normal clothes aren’t supposed to be worn in your house, but maybe that’s just my place? Needless to say, my PJ collection is pretty AH-MaZing if I don’t say so myself. My all time favorites are these sweats from Brandy Melveville – they are life changing, no joke! Here are a few other great PJ options:
       
#2 WIN with E on the end– WINE, girl! In my PJs with red wine in hand – gotta love a girl who knows what she likes. I’m a huge wine lush; hardest part is admitting you have a problem. #guilty and not mad about it. The truth is wine is WAY cheaper at home then spending the cash on a glass/bottle at dinner. My favorite Cabernets are: Trader Joe’s Black Mountain Fat Cat, Dreaming Tree, Ghost Pines & Duckhorn. If it’s not wine, it’s Blue Moon = a win either way!
             
#3 Netfixs & Chill– Ha! Ummm, can I tell you I just found out what that means like a month ago. When did I get so old that I don’t even know the lingo! Fall TV shows have officially started and I’m SO excited. I love unplugging from my phone and computer and getting lost in a TV show, especially the trashy ones! I’m excited to watch: This is Us, Notorious, How to Get Away with Murder, The Affair, Timeless (Yay, Matt!) & Kevin Can’t Wait!
     
#4 Time For Each other– Most weeks are crazy and it can certainly feel like Muffin and I are ships passing in the night. With my crazy travel schedule and his always on call job, it’s nice to stay home and catch up, and reconnect on our week. Making time for your partner and enjoying those nights at home are both rewarding and free!
#5 Snooze Fest– Girl please, by 11pm on the couch, it’s a real fight to keep my eyes open. Catching up on some much needed sleep is a great excuse to stay home on a Friday night. Not only going to bed early, but also sleeping in on Satmorning is my M.O!
