More Than a T-Shirt Knot
Do you ever look at your closet and think I have nothing to wear! Who am I kidding, we've all been there! I can't tell you how many times I've stared at my wardrobe and wished I could make a new outfit out of my existing pieces — how to make a more wintery piece styled for summer or repurpose an old dress that's no longer its original length. That's why this season, it's all about repurposing your closet by mastering the t-shirt knot! We've seen this trend a lot recently but what you may not know is that there are lots more types of clothing knots besides the t-shirt knot...
Side Knot
The most popular type of knot this season is the side knot. Grab any oversized tank top or t-shirt and you can easily make it your size and perfect fit! I personally enjoy knotting my tops whenever I am headed to the gym or pool with my Monogrammed Sport Water Bottle. I can be comfy in a loose top without looking like I am wearing my PJs or feeling constricted!
Front Tie
Also known as the cowgirl knot, the front tie is easy to tie and even easier to pull off. You can front tie your longer work button downs and pair them with a pair of high waisted distressed shorts and Monogrammed Wicker Purse. This front tie accentuates your waist while also showing off your spunky pants or high waisted shorts. You will be sure to get more wear out of your work-appropriate button-downs with the front tie and add a pop of fun sass to your summer wardrobe!
Through & Tuck
The through and tuck is definitely the most creative knot and the definition of a "style-hack!" But the best thing about this one is that it gives the illusion that your top was designed and made with a knot already! The first time that I tried this type of knot, I received questions wondering where I got a shirt that had a pre-designed knot. So cute with very little effort! You simply pull your shirt through a front belt loop, tuck it into your jeans, shorts, or skirts and then top it off with your Monogrammed Bar Necklace. If you aren't crazy about the knot trend, the through and tuck is more subtle and adds just a little spice to your OOTD.
Back Knot
Okay, ladies, it's Friday night. Whether this means date night or a night out with the girls, make your Friday night outfit 🔥 and 😍 worthy! Tying the knot in the back of your top keeps the front of your outfit clean and slenderizing and the back fun and funky. Take your tanks, halter tops, t-shirts, and strapless blouses from day to date night with the back knot! Oh, and don't forget your Monogrammed Wrapped Box Clutch!
Get the most wear out of every piece of clothing item in your closet, regardless of the fashion season, with these fun five knots! Make your oversized tops fit slimmer, work attire sassier, and simple items more flirty!
